Welcome to Medical Studies

Hello and welcome to Medical Studies for the 2015 school year.

Whether you come to this class with a specific medical science path in mind or want to find a path to follow, this is the place for you.

medicalschoolblog.com
Our class takes place period 3 for semester one in room 329.

Please check out the course outline to see what the plan is for this year's learning.

Because of the nature of the course, the computers in the lab are going to be heavily utilized.

A couple of things to note before we start for those who are unfamiliar with my teaching style:

  • This course is designed to stimulate your learning in a variety of ways. It will include individual activities that involve colouring worksheets that will be closely contrasted by small group presentations where you will be expected to become experts and sharer your new-found expertise with the class.
  • This course focuses on skills relevant to 21st century learning. You will research, present, collaborate and work as teams nearly every day in this class. If this bothers you, then I suggest looking into another profession .
  • This blog will be a hub for communication but all individual communications can be sent to MDWAY@EDUCBE.CA or MDWAY@CBE.AB.CA
  • If you come to school every day with an open mind this course will be very enjoyable for everyone involved.
I look forward to getting to know everyone better in the coming days as we begin our journey to understand the world of Medical Science.
